Method of preparation:
1. Mix all wet ingredients in a bowl, take the milk and add vinegar. 2. Leave it for 10 minutes until the milk gets curdled. 3. Then add oil, jaggery, and vanilla essence to the milk mixture and whisk it well together. 4. Sieve wheat flour, custard powder, baking powder, and baking soda. 5. Add a pinch of salt. 6. Add grated carrot and finely chopped dates to the mixture and mix it gradually to form a semi-thick batter. 7. If needed add some more milk to get the right consistency. 8. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree Celsius, and bake it for 30 minutes at the same temperature.
