Ingredients:


1.Horse gram - 1 cup

2.Jaggery powder - 1/2 cup

3.Milk (optional) 

4.Ghee/Clarified butter (optional) 

5.Water - 4 cups 

6.Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp


Method of preparation:

 
1.First step is to fry the horse grams in medium flame and let it cool. 

2.Then grind the horse gram into fine powder or store brought horse gram flour can be used. 

2.Then turn on the stove, pour water in a vessel and heat the water. 

3.Then add jaggery powder and stir until the jaggery powder get dissolved in the water. 

4.Then make a slurry of horse gram flour using water. 

5.Then gently pour the prepared horse gram slurry in boiling water and keep stirring until the consistency gets little bit thicker. 

6.Add cardamom powder to enhance the flavor and taste. 

7.Pour this delicious, sweet in glass, if you prefer to add little bit of milk and ghee. 

8. Vegans can use dairy free milk and butter according to their preferences.
